Domus / issue 25
After World War II, Italy developed a significant avant-garde in interior design. With the fall of Fascism, the birth of the Italian Republic and the 1946 RIMA exhibition in Milano, Italian talent started to receive international exposure as part of a wider global interest in modern Italian culture culminating in the 1960 Olympics and the establishment of ‘Hollywood on the Tiber’ at Cinecittá in Rome.
Domus by Stephen Hale appears in issue 25 HABITAT.
