Design a cycling jersey for The Modernist Cycling Club

We are big cycling fans here at Modernist HQ (well Eddy is at least) and we know lots of you are too.

A few years ago we even set up The Modernist Cycling Club. However, mainly due to Eddy’s inability to get out of bed on Sunday mornings, it very rarely actually met for any rides. Despite this we know many of you enjoy cycling and also enjoy The Modernist - so we have decided to make our own cycling jersey, and hopefully a cap too. Instead of letting Eddy loose with his crayons we have decided to open it out as a competition. As well as many of you being cyclists we also know lots of you are designers too so its a perfect chance to combine your interests (although you dont have to either a cyclist or designer to enter).

The prize is not only the honour of seeing your design on the backs of skinny, and not so skinny, Modernist cyclists but we’ll also give you a jersey ( a winners jersey if you like) and a cap.

We don’t have any preconceptions regarding design, thats up to you, but if you would like to enter please email Eddy and we can send you some templates for the jersey and cap, along with some guidelines regarding typefaces and colour palette etc.
