Sent to Coventry

Before the lock down we sent our intrepid explorer, the original and best Modern Moocher, Mr Steve Marland to Coventry. Whilst there he visited Coventry Cathedral, a modern marvel, reconstructed after it was devastated by incendiary bombs in the Second World War, burning with the city surrounding it on 14th November 1940. The cathedral was rebuilt, the Queen laying the foundation stone in March 1956, and consecrated in May 1962.
